Write to the workshop
Whether you've a question about a particular piece, an idea for a commission, or you simply want to understand how something is made, this is the place to start. There's no obligation in writing — most people who reach out are just curious, and that's welcome.
Send a message
Fill in what's relevant and leave the rest. We'll reply by email, usually within a day or two.
Before you write
A few useful notes
How quickly will I hear back? +
Most messages get a reply within a day or two. Because every response is written by hand rather than by an automated system, busy stretches at the bench can add a little time — but nothing is left unanswered.
What sort of enquiries do you take? +
Questions about ready-made pieces, material details, sizing, care, and commission ideas are all welcome. If you're unsure whether something is possible, ask anyway — we'd rather talk it through than have you guess.
How does a commission begin? +
It starts as a conversation, not a form to fill in. Tell us roughly what you have in mind — a style, a stone, an occasion, a budget — and we'll respond with a few questions and, where it helps, a sketch before any work is committed to.
Are there other ways to reach you? +
The form above is the most reliable way to reach the workshop and keeps everything in one place. If you've written before, replying to that same thread works well too.
